The decoration in Riverside Cottage was so charming and homely, just like my own cozy living room. The general areas were immaculate and well-maintained, with beautiful plants and flowers adding to the serene atmosphere. As a senior woman, I appreciated the easy accessibility of the cottage, with everything on one level and no stairs to navigate. It made me feel safe and comfortable during my stay.
The only thing I would suggest for a better vacation for senior people is for the children working there to offer more assistance with carrying bags or bringing them to the car. Just a little extra support would have made things even smoother for us older guests.

The bathroom was a delight! It had both a shower and a bath, perfect for lazy evenings and quick morning refreshers. I felt like I was in a cozy spa, relaxing and treating myself. As a budget traveler, this was a luxury I truly appreciated.
Personally, I found the cottage a tad small, but that's just me. Others might still love the cozy setup.

Gorgeous Garden: The highlight of our stay was definitely the stunning garden at Riverside Cottage. It felt like stepping into a fairytale with beautiful flowers and lush greenery. It was a perfect spot to relax and unwind, a real paradise!
Limited Parking Spaces: Only a minor inconvenience, but the parking spaces at the cottage were limited. However, we managed to find a spot without much trouble.

We were pleasantly surprised to find a delightful welcome hamper filled with snacks, treats, and breakfast essentials. The attention to detail was remarkable, from the fresh bread and milk to the assortment of jams and marmalades. The constant supply of hot water and comfortable beds ensured a restful night's sleep for everyone. The location was perfect, conveniently situated near Ballyclare, Glengormley, Belfast, Lisburn. We also appreciated the secure off-road parking, making our stay worry-free. The highlight of our experience was the soothing sound of the nearby babbling stream, which enhanced the relaxing atmosphere. Finally, I must mention the incredible hospitality of our host, Alan. The homely atmosphere of Riverside Cottage was delightful, and the sound of the river flowing beside the house was my favorite part. The host, Alan, had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable, especially for senior people like myself. The decoration was charming, with cozy furnishings and beautiful plant pots, trees, and shrubs surrounding the cottage. It was also very accessible, with no stairs to climb and secure off-road parking.
The only thing that could have made our vacation for senior people even better would have been if there were more staff available to assist us. Though the children working there were friendly, helpful, and polite, having more staff would ensure that all guests receive the attention they need.
